Daisies can bloom year round. The best conditions for them are April too June.
They can still live in the harsh winter conitions.Daisies are found to be one of the
most common weeds despite what soil they can get planted in.
If for some reason you want to get rid of these there are many different
ways to approach them.If there are small patches you can just take them out by hand
or with a small tool.If you really dont want them start mowing your lawn regulary.
Uses!
These special flowers are used as an herb. They have many uses. People use
the seeds, for expample salads. You can also use the flower buds and petals to
eat in sandwhiches or stew. Tea is also a very popular useage for daisies.
Daisies are also found packed with vitamins such as A, C, and K. Other than
food daisies can also be helped for bronchitis, coughs, and extreme bleeding.
How to identify
These plants can be seen low to the ground. Their very small with dark
rose shaped leaves. Even though they aren't soft the stem of these plants are
very hairy and can leave a tingly feeling when touched. These flowers are easy to find
but they have many common look alikes. Oxy-daisies and wild chamomile can be mistaken at first look
for daisies.
